Interspiritual Contemplative Practice

Saturday, November 15th 10:00 am – 12:00 pm Central Time

15 US dollars

Service Description

The term “interfaith” was coined at the first Parliament of World Religions in 1893, offering us the invitation to respectful dialogue. In 1999, Br Wayne Teasdale, in his book, The Mystic Heart, coined the term “interspirituality,” which invited us to shared experience. It was an invitation for people to invite others to pray and meditate together across traditions and perspectives. In this 2-hour Oasis Retreat, we’ll take some time to be in practice together around shared values: Happiness, Health, Gratitude, Transformation, Love, Compassion, Mindfulness, Wisdom, and Service. We hope you will join us in celebrating our interconnectedness.
